Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients

(serves 2)

1/2 cup rolled oats

1 cup water

2 tbsp honey

1-2 tsp cinnamon

1 apple

1 cup almond milk

Step 1

Cut apple into small chunks.

Step 2

Bring oats, water and half the apple chunks to boil. Add 1 tbsp honey and cinnamon. Stir well. Reduce heat to low.

Step 3

Continue stirring until oats are cooked.

Step 4

Separate oats evenly between two bowls. Should make appropriately 1/2 cup of cooked oats for each serving (1 cup cooked oats total)

Step 5

Pour 1/2 cup almond milk in each bowl. Top oatmeal with remainder of apple chunks, 1 tbsp honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
