Green Detox Smoothie

A Green Detox Smoothie is easily disregarded as GROSS or we easily turn our nose up at it but truthfully it’s not that bad. We actually just finished at event where many first timers actually really enjoyed it.

I think it’s the thought of drinking greens more than the actual flavour. Or when someone hears these ingredients listed below that they aren’t used to having we automatically assume they won’t taste good.

but if you give it an honest try I think you might surprise yourself. A green detox smoothie can actually be quite refreshing. The phytonutrients fill each cell one at a time and offer a natural boost of energy that gives us a pick me up first thing in the morning!

Ingredients
8-12oz filtered water
1 stalk celery
1/2 cucumber
1 cup spinach
1/2 lemon
1 slice ginger
1/4 tsp turmeric
sprinkle of cayenne pepper
small handful of cilantro, parsley and mint

Place all ingredients in the blender and blast away!!!

Please note: For best results and to achieve a smooth consistency without any chunks a high speed blender is required.
