True Form’s Healthy Poppycock

Poppycock is one of those treats where once you start it’s terribly hard to stop. No worries with True Form’s Healthy Poppycock recipe. There is no refined sugar, butter or other toxic ingredients.

Ingredients

12 cups air-popped popcorn
1/2 cup creamy natural peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. Himalayan salt                                                                                                                                        1/4 cup water

Steps to Follow…

Pre-heat oven to 225 degrees celcius.

Pop popcorn in an air popper. Make sure to remove all un-popped kernels so you don’t break a tooth. Place popped popcorn in a large mixing bowl.

Prepare a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.

In a small saucepan heat up the honey on low. Pull off stove and mix in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth. If the mixture clumps into one big ball use water to thin it out. Sprinkle small amounts of water onto the mixture and stir until you reach the desired consistency. It should be the consistency of caramel.

Drizzle mixture over popcorn and stir well. If mixture is too tacky you can massage with your hands. Mix until the popcorn is well covered.

Spread popcorn on cookie sheet

Sprinkle with salt. Place in oven for 10 minutes. Remove and stir. Return to oven for another 5 minutes.

Cool and serve.
