Guacamole is a quick and easy snack to prepare and it tastes delicious. With only 5 main ingredients and minimal prep you can prepare it in minutes. It’s a great snack to bring to family events, potluck or a party with friends. Just to warn you though, it’s so delicious that it won’t last long.

Avocados are the main ingredient in Guacamole which is great because they provide the body with a ton of nutrients. Avocados are a healthy fat which means our bodies can recognize, absorb and utilize the nutrients from this food. Our bodies turn the nutrients from healthy fats into energy so this is a great snack to have to keep your energy up.

Avoid an afternoon crash at work or school with this great green snack!


2-3 avocados, ripe

1/2 cup tomatoes, chopped

1/4 cup purple onion, chopped

2-3 Tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

1/2 lime

Himalayan Salt


Step One

Cut your veggies into small chunks, slice your avocados in half and cut your lime into quarters.

Step Two

Dice your avocados and place them in a medium size bowl.

Step Three

Place your veggies in the bowl with your avocados. Squeeze lime juice on top and sprinkle with Himalayan salt and pepper. Combine well.

Step Four

Serve with tortilla chips, pita crackers or veggies.
