It’s important to read the ingredients when it comes to digestion, gut health and fermented ingredients. Fermented ingredients are hard to find because better quality ingredients cost more to make which means the company will make less of a margin at the end of the day.

And let’s face it, when it comes to most protein supplements, more about their bottom line than improving health.

The lack of quality ingredients at the grocery store and with so many not reading the ingredients – we have less and less quality options to choose from.

So instead of looking at the nutritional facts and seeing how many calories per serving are in a product. Look for clean ingredients, those that you can read, pronounce and spell. Especially when it comes to gut health, improved digestion and finding fermented ingredients.
