No Bake Granola Bars

These no bake granola bars take minutes to prepare and there’s no need to wait for them to come out of the oven. With only a few ingredients they are simple and easy to put together. They are sweet, salty and nutty. They are tough to keep around because they are so delicious.

So healthy that you don’t need to feel guilty for sneaking a second one. There is no refined sugar, no soy, no gmos, no dairy and you can make them gluten free by buying gluten free oats. A snack you can trust is good for your health.

What are the ingredients?

There are only six simple ingredients in this recipe. All you need is:

  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup Complete Truth Protein
  • 1 cup nuts and seeds of your choice, chopped (almonds, walnuts, pecans, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds etc.)
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

How to put them together?

First, remove the pits from the dates and blend them in a food processor or blender.Combine until they reach a  dough consistency. Transfer to a bowl.

Tip: If you don’t have a high seed blender try soaking your dates before blending them. This will make it easier.

Next, add remaining four ingredients:oats, Complete Truth Protein, maple syrup, nuts and peanut butter to the bowl. Mix well.

Lastly, line a small baking dish with parchment paper so they don’t stick. Push down granola bar mixture firmly with the back of a wooden spoon or the bottom of a glass cup. Make sure they are well packed. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes. Remove from freezer and cut into 10 bars. Store in fridge.
