This is me at the airport leaving for another continent. Soon I’ll be on the other side of the world. Down under.
I thought this was kind of amusing. This picture right here shows how normal being lazy has become in our society. I’m sure we’ve all done it. This time I’ve decided to walk, this time (as most times in my life) I took the road less traveled. It doesn’t seem like much, but because of these inventions, because of our technology, very much contributes to unhealthy lifestyles. Taking short cuts never work out in the end.
I made it! 14 and half hours later I touched down in Brisbane, Australia.
I must say the flight didn’t seem that bad. Besides sleeping half the trip, we had our own tv’s, I brought magazines and books. I even had an isle seat so I walked as often as I could.
This is the first building I saw besides the airport. A surprise to my ignorance. They do have buildings, cars and civilization. I really didn’t know what to expect. All I knew of Australia was watching Crocodile Dundee run around the outback as a kid.
On the train ride to Surfers Paradise, it looked a little more like LA than I expected.
Thanks for stopping by. You’ll have to come visit tomorrow to see my final destination.
