Our Orange Pumpkin Seed Smoothie is so refreshing!! A perfect treat on a nice warm day or a day that you are looking for a little taste of sunshine. What more could you ask for. Sunshine in a cup is hard to beat.

Not only does this Orange Pumpkin Seed Smoothie taste great but it’s packed full of nutrients as well. Pumpkin Seeds contain valuable vitamins such as magnesium and iron. They also contain lots of anti-oxidants and are a source of healthy fats which our bodies turn into energy. BONUS!! Who doesn’t need more energy.

Iron can be difficult for our bodies to absorb which is why we chose to pair the pumpkin seeds with orange in this smoothie. Vitamin C helps increase the absorption of iron. Another BONUS!!!

8-12 oz almond milk

1 scoop True Form’s Vanilla Protein Powder

1 banana (frozen is best)

1/2 orange

1 date

1-2 Tbsp pumpkin seeds (unsalted, raw)

Blending Instructions

Place all ingredients in the blender, blast and enjoy.

If you do no have a high powered blender be sure to soak your dates and pumpkin seeds overnight so it’s easier to blend smooth.
