(serves 2)

1/2 cup rolled oats

1 cup water

2 tbsp maple syrup

1-2 tbsp natural peanut butter

1 banana

1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup almond milk

Step 1

Bring oats and water to a boil. Add 1 tbsp maple syrup and peanut butter. Stir well. Reduce heat to low.

Step 3

Continue stirring until oats are cooked.

Step 4

Separate oats evenly between two bowls. Should make appropriately 1/2 cup of cooked oats for each serving (1 cup cooked oats total)

Step 5

Pour 1/2 cup almond milk in each bowl. Top oatmeal with banana slices, 1 tbsp maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
