Ayurvedic Oil Pulling with Activated Charcoal – 8oz

If you aren’t familiar with oil pulling, it has been used for centuries. Ayurvedic medicine, it’s not just medicine, it’s a lifestyle that is thousands of years old. One of the things that they do is, what they call oil pulling.

You treat it basically like a mouthwash. Swish back and forth for roughly 15 to 20 minutes. You’re pulling out toxins from your teeth and gums and there’s tons of benefits and we have them listed on the bottle. Ayurveda also believes you’re pulling toxins from the rest of the body as well.

Teeth whitening and bad breath are some of the other benefits.. This is going to help teeth, gums and jaw. It’s going to strengthen them because you’re using a good quality product.

Oil pulling will prevent tooth decay and plaque buildup. This will fight sores and cracked lips as well, because it’s an oil. You’re going to put oil on there and it’s going to actually moisturize your lips as well. It’s also detoxifying and cleansing.

One of the main benefits is the detoxing benefits of pulling toxins out of the body. Just think about when you put toxins in your body, where’s the first place it goes? It goes on your tongue, it goes on your gums and goes on your teeth before it gets to your digestive system. So you want to pull those toxins out of your mouth first and then the rest of your body.

The ingredients are simple as usual. We have our C8 MCT oil, we have our Activated Charcoal and we have Tea Tree essential oil which is food grade. Tea Tree is also antimicrobial as well, so that can help kill off bacteria in your teeth and gums.

Shake the bottle well before use, and pour a table spoon or two into a cup or spoon and pour it in your mouth. Be careful not to swallow the oil pulling. Not of the ingredients are harmful to ingest but, that wouldn’t exactly provide a pleasant experience 😉.

I’ve heard from many people that have tried to use coconut oil but they didn’t like chewing on the hard coconut oil to make it liquid. And the other problem is if you spit that down the drain and it gets cold, it’ll turn hard and you’ll have plumbing issues.

Our oil pulling is stable at room temperature, so you can spit it down the drain or toilet and you won’t have to worry about any issues there.

I like to oil pull in the shower because the charcoal is black and it actually whitens your teeth. And what’s interesting, turmeric turns everything orange, for example, but it’s also used as a whitening agent for your teeth. So it’s the same thing with Activated Charcoal.

We use Activated Charcoal in many different ways. We personally use it daily for digestion, but you can also whiten your teeth with it. You can open up the capsule, put it on your toothbrush, and brush your teeth with it.
