Right now, I’ve got a big stack of people to get through who asked for free resources like:
A) Our list of toxic supplement ingredients
B) The new collagen eBook
I’m hesitant or have been procrastinating because: when we send out DMs with these resources, many people don’t respond. Even though they requested it, silence makes FB think we’re spamming.
A short “thank you” is all we need—something more than just a 👍 or ❤️. It’s common courtesy to acknowledge when you receive a nice free resource we’ve put a lot of time and energy into creating. Without that, our account gets flagged or “soft blocked.” That means our posts are shown to fewer people, we lose features, and sometimes we can’t send DMs at all.
I know this might not matter much to random followers, but for those of you who know us, trust us, and appreciate what we’re building—we could really use your help.
Without responses, FB treats our messages like spam. (The same thing happens with emails—if you never reply, they eventually end up in spam folders. That’s part of the reason we’re running an email challenge right now.)
So please—if you request something or we DM you, take a few seconds to reply with a short message. Otherwise, we’ll eventually have to stop sending DMs to those who rarely respond. It sounds odd, but we’ve seen people request content multiple times, we send it, they read it, and never respond—FB makes it look like we’re sending unwanted messages.
Thanks for your help and understanding—it really does make it easier for us to keep sharing great content with you! 💙
