So I was hanging out with some kids today, they’re about 3-5yrs old for the most part so we’re on the same maturity level J.  I often pull them on sleds when there’s snow on the ground.  One of the kids asked me to pull them so I said, why don’t you pull me this time?  The kid said I can’t you’re too heavy (if you know me at all you know how I feel about that word).  After a few mins of a grown up sized person lying on a child sized sled a few more kids came over to see what was going on.  Another kid said, ‘get off, you’re too heavy’.  I replied with a very mature ‘nope, pull me’.  Finally one of the kids came over and said, ‘move out of the way, I got this!’.  The kid pulled and slipped, and fell, then got back up and continued on….not a budge, but he wouldn’t give up.  Not long after this, another kid jumped in and started trying to pull, then another joined in and finally the sled moved.  Another kid jumped in and the sled moved a little more until to my surprise they were actually pulling me…..slowly and downhill but nonetheless.

What came out of this story, first of all belief by one little kid that he could, and secondly you can inspire if you’re willing to take a risk.  Believe you CAN and surround yourself with the right people; I CAN will accomplish more than you ever dreamed.
