I wanted to take a moment to discuss the importance of our accountability phone calls and how they play a crucial role in your progress.
I’ve had some really great calls with many of you recently which inspired this write up.
Personally, I feel these calls are a hidden gem, maybe the most underrated part of any program. I think everyone should have calls with some sort of coach or mentor regardless of what it is you’re trying to accomplish.
Accountability phone calls allow us to review your progress, address any challenges or setbacks you may be facing, and celebrate your successes. These calls help us stay on track and ensure that you are making consistent progress.
Our weekly or monthly calls are planned for 15-20 mins. They don’t have to be long or take up too much of your day. Simply by checking in to say hi to someone that you know cares and wants to see you succeed makes all the difference.
I’m happy to answer questions, in fact it’s great when you have questions prepared ahead of time. But questions aren’t mandatory, and sometimes you don’t need help with anything in particular. In this case the calls are still helpful because you know someone will be asking you some simple question at some point to see if you’re staying on track, which helps you stay accountable throughout the week.
I also want to express my appreciation when you make a commitment to our scheduled calls and keep them as planned. When you prioritize our calls and make them a priority, it shows your commitment to your personal growth and development. It also allows us to make the most of our time together and focus on what is most important for your progress.
I understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may arise, and you may need to reschedule our call. In these situations, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can find a time that works for both of us. However, I also want to highlight that if you cancel at the last minute, it can be challenging for me to book someone else in your time slot, which may impact the progress of other clients.
I always appreciate when calls are booked in advance, for example if you signed up for our 6 week challenge then booking 6 weeks in advance all at once would be great.
I know it’s easier to book a couple days out to suit your schedule but that makes it challenging for me to plan my week around calls, not knowing who I’m scheduled with or who may book at the last minute.
You can always reschedule if you need to, all I ask is that you give me at least 24hrs notice, for the small chance someone else may want your spot.
Even if you’re on the monthly call plan, it would be great if you could book your calls in advance 6 months out.
It’s your responsibility to book your calls. It’s challenging for me, as one person, to make sure everyone has booked when they should. And if you really don’t want them and they come included in your package, that’s perfectly okay, but I really feel like you’re missing out on many areas of direction, support and accountability by not booking them.
I usually send out a message in the morning to confirm our call in case there are any last min changes or in case anyone forgets , and you’re welcome to the same if you’d like to confirm any of our calls ahead of time.
I’ve very much been enjoying getting to know so many of you on a deeper level, I feel like that’s the best way to offer support and guidance.
