A few more pics from the last blog.
The downtown streets were packed; cars and motorbikes revved their engines, people waved their flags and screamed their counties name while wearing their countries colors. It was really something to see. I saw a little bit of this in LA when the Lakers won the NBA Championship and I can only hope Canada celebrated like this when they won Gold in hockey at the Olympics.
Living right downtown does have it’s downfalls, I was able to hear cars and people celebrating all night. Nonetheless, I am happy I was able to experience this European celebration.
Holland advanced to the finals today and tomorrow if German can beat Spain in the semi finals, they will advance to the Championship and we can expect a whole lot more of this.
