Who am I?
My name is Drew Taddia, I traveled the world playing baseball in 4 countries and more states and provinces than I could count. Moving up to the professional ranks I credit my physical and mental ability to the hard work and dedication I put towards, nutrition, fitness and over all health and wellness.
I quickly understood the less stress I put on my body the better I’d be able to recover, the quick and faster I’d be able to move and the more mental clarity I have. This is no different from every day life. We can be at our best if reduce the stress in our lives through paying attention to the food we’re putting in our body and the type of exercise we are performing.
By reducing the stress in your life through nutrition and fitness you’ll find yourself:

- mental clarity
- more easily able to burn body fat
- in a better mood
- sleeping better
As a personal trainer I also host a radio talk show called Exploring Mind and Body, interviewing world wide experts in many different areas regarding holistic health. I’m the author of Detoxify Yourself and also coach online to help you understand all the benefits from reducing stress in your life.
How to choose a trainer?
It’s a big investment hiring a trainer both financially and time wise. You certainly want to choose the best fit for you. I suggest you have a look around this website, maybe even other blog posts to see if anything resonates with you. I make multiple posts a day on my True Form Life Facebook page. And I also podcast twice a week on my Exploring Mind and Body site in which I often share my opinion on different topics.
I highly suggest you do research before you hire any personal trainer to make sure you beliefs, values and mind set align.
How do I train?
Fitness wise I like to use the entire body as resistance which means we don’t throw around heavy weights to reach our goals. Variations of squats, planks and lunges are used. A also like to use the TRX band with my clients.
Nutrition wise, my clients are expected to record their food intake into a nutrition journal. Each session we’ll go over the food journal and I’ll offer small sustainable changes to help whomever I’m working with to make little changes to their lifestyle diet.
Homework is often given through trying different foods and or preparing them, cardio session maybe expected given the individuals goals and so on.
Where do we workout?
All workouts will be outdoors. We’ll find a common place to meet where we can comfortably go over our workout routine, walk or run a little and talk about nutrition.
Workouts don’t have to be incredibly intense, a trainer doesn’t have to be scary or intimidating. You may be surprised to find out working out can be fun. Sure I’m serious when it comes to training because I want to help you get the results you’re looking for. But I’m also light hearted, laugh quite a bit and enjoy having a good time no matter what I’m doing.
