I recently had a great conversation with Angela who is doing fantastic! We started about 4 weeks ago, she jumped in with two feet, fully trusted our process and she hasn’t looked back!
I understand it’s only been 4 weeks but I’m super excited for her and it’s always encouraging to see members hit the ground running, trust in the process and see amazing results!
She’s been to almost every single workout (missed 1), she’s following the meal plan, she’s been consistent with her phone calls with me and posts on the group to help keep motivation up and accountability high.
I’m excited to share that she’s down 10lbs and 2.5 inches!!!
Many of you know I really dislike the scale, but that doesn’t mean you should NEVER weigh yourself. If weighing is your only measure of success, then I would say it isn’t beneficial. But Angela noted that she’s feeling better, her clothes fit looser and she even (finally) bought a dress for her son, and daughters wedding who will each be married this fall and the coming fall (fortunately her dress can still be taken in ;)).
Here you see the goal as a dress (or dress size), not a number on a scale. The number is a by product of success focused on the action of completing each task daily….a very different mind set. She’s also feeling great, which is what most people really want, it’s just wrapped in different paper.
So here’s the thing, we have a proven process that works. We’ve been doing this for a long time and our process works because of you, because of our members’ feedback over the years as we’ve continually refined and adjusted our approach to offer the best results possible.
If you haven’t seen the results you’re looking for that doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong, that may just mean adjustments need to be made.
You may need more accountability (someone to help you stay on track – if you don’t have weekly phone calls), you may need to adjust your nutrition (most people still aren’t eating enough ((not too much)), you may need to be more consistent with workouts OR you may simply have not given yourself enough time to see the results you’re looking for. This last one is almost alway the case, which is why people give up and think it’s not working when time is the only thing missing.
So keep pushing forward out there, continue to set your targets and tick them off day by day and week by week and you’ll see the results you’re looking for!
