I recently took a trip to a much warmer place. Every time I go away I find a new energy and I find new inspiration, which isn’t always a good thing :). If you take a step back and look at the big picture, small things don’t seem to bother you so much. Gossip seems to be put on the back burner (As it should be), small problems or little things that bother you, really don’t mean much, not if you don’t let them.
I often talk about goals and it’s puzzling to me when most of time people have no idea what they want or aren’t willing to admit them. I believe failure plays a large role in this. We’d rather not admit what we really want because there’s a chance we’ll never achieve what we’ve always wanted. Failure is what we’re scared of. I heard this before, ‘if I never set a goal, then I’ll never fail’, it was a joke at the time but this is the mindset of so many. I believe if we don’t have a goal, we sit back and watch life pass us by.
More times than not ‘our lives’ get in the way of our dreams, we get a job, have a family and push ourselves to the side. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure most people are very happy with their families, which doesn’t mean I believe it’s okay to ‘not remember’ what it is we want or not work towards something we want to achieve.
I personally had the pleasure of hearing T. Harv Ecker say “it’s not that we set goals too high and miss them, we set goals to low and hit them”. My goals have warm weather and palm trees in them and ‘vacation’ isn’t in the heading, subtitle or body. If we don’t wake up with a purpose to achieve one day we’ll wake up wishing we did.

I am still thinking yoga on the beach :)
