I took the dog for a walk the other day and didn’t have him on the leash. Never had a problem with him before, not really a problem at all actually. He’s a friendly dog, hasn’t ever caused trouble although I understand not everyone’s a dog person. A couple were walking by and I heard the man grumbled, ‘I hate dogs’. I don’t think the dog understood because he went over to say hi. Another grumble ‘tie that thing up!’ It was hard not to think, the hospitality around here is as warm as the weather. But you never know what kind of day a person is having or kind of life for that matter. Which is why it’s always good to remember ‘Don’t take anything personally’ from the book The Four Agrements By Don Ruiz.
