Fermented Pea Protein

Pea protein is widely used as an ingredient when it comes to plan based protein supplements. They do this because it’s an easy way to help increase the protein content in a supplement.

However, pea protein is known to be hard to digest which makes this an issue for many people that are looking for a plant based protein that isn’t going to cause digestion issues.

Why we chose a fermented pea protein

This is why we chose a fermented pea protein ingredient. Any time you’re looking at fermented foods or fermented ingredients, you have the ability to actually improve digestion or at the very least, make it easier to digest.

It would be a good idea to read the ingredients when it comes to choosing the right protein supplement for you. Even seemingly ‘clean ingredients’ can be hard to digestion, utilize and for the body to absorb.

This is another reason we chose to put 2 plant based digestive enzymes in our product. We want to do everything possible to make sure our product is easy to digest, utilize an absorb.

Unfortunately when it comes to most protein supplements, our bodies aren’t able to utilize many of the nutrients especially the protein, simply because they are hard to digest.
